A Visit from Japan
We were lucky enough in Room 12 to have two Japanese visitors come and visit our classroom. Prior to the visit we researched Japan, the Japanese flag and country.
When our visitors arrived they taught us a string and ball game from Japan and gifted us with some equipment so we could play it ourselves at school.
We made some Japanese carp kite fish and kokeshi paper dolls which are tradittionally seen in Japan. Here are some of our creations...
